About Us
Nestled in the vibrant Ouseburn Valley of Newcastle upon Tyne, Ouseburn Owlets was founded by local educators passionate about bridging traditional North East heritage with cutting-edge early childhood methodologies. Drawing from the tales of the Brown Man of the Moors and the majestic Angel of the North, our programs transform everyday learning into enchanting adventures that foster deep connections to place and community. Over the years, our 18-strong team has nurtured hundreds of little owlets into confident, creative explorers ready for primary school. What began as a dream to counter urban disconnection has grown into a beacon for parents seeking more than rote learning. We prioritize play-based immersion, where children climb Quayside-inspired structures, craft with local clay, and role-play as brave pit ponies, building emotional resilience alongside literacy and numeracy skills. Our results speak volumes: 95% of graduates exceed developmental milestones.
